History of the brand

Founded in 1905 by Hans Wilsdorf in London, Rolex revolutionized watchmaking by transforming wristwatches from fragile jewelry into precise, durable, and waterproof tools. Known for the 1926 Oyster (first waterproof case), the 1931 Perpetual (self-winding movement), and iconic sports models like the Submariner (1953), Rolex is now a Swiss-based, iconic luxury brand owned by the Hans Wilsdorf Foundation.

Polishing and laser welding

Our polisher is brand trained and we also have laser welding facilities on site as well as lapping equipment to make sure the correct finish is put back on your Rolex. For deep marks we can fill the dent or heavy scratches using the correct steel or gold wire before refinishing so as to remove the minimal amount of material.

Bracelet Repinning

This is a very popular serviceif you have a Jubilee or Oyster bracelet which is stretched we can provide either just a repin service or a full bracelet restoration including laser welding all worn links. This is a cheaper alternative to having to replace the bracelet completely.

Specialist Care for your Rolex

Our workshop sees hundreds of Rolex watches a year, giving us a deep understanding of the common fail points in specific models.

We are particularly experienced with the Calibre 3135 movement, found in decades of Submariner and Datejust models. A frequent issue we resolve is wear on the rotor axle, which causes the oscillating weight to wobble and scour the movement plates. We inspect this as standard.

As part of a full service all seals are changed including the glass gaskets. Giving you peace of mind. All servicing work comes with a 2 year warranty.

Frequently asked questions

We recommend getting your Rolex serviced every 5 years. We do provide free health checks if you wanted to pop in and we can check it on our timing machines.

This is a really common fault and is usually down to the automatic weight axle being worn. This is changed during service and if it is worn then the watch itself is also due a service. Seek advice asap and don’t leave it to cause further damage.

We have water testing equipment on site. We recommend getting the seals checked every 2 years. Its very common when we service a Rolex the glass gaskets just snap as they are very worn and have never been changed. Also the amount of rubber gaskets that just turn solid and no longer provide a guard against water resistance is very common.

Not necessarily, it could just be magnetised, it may also just need a minor regulation, pop it into us and we will check it for you at no cost.
