Specialist Rolex Services
Rolex Bracelet Restoration
Over time, the links on Jubilee and Oyster bracelets can stretch due to dirt grinding the pins. We disassemble the bracelet, rebuild the pins, and tighten the links to remove the “droop,” restoring the bracelet to a factory-tight feel without replacing it.
Laser Welding (904L Steel)
Deep dents or scratches on the case lugs cannot simply be polished out without losing the shape of the watch. Using precision lasers, we fill dents with matching 904L stainless steel (or gold), allowing us to refinish the surface without removing excess metal.
Bezel Re-cutting & Lapping
The sharp, light-catching ridges of a fluted bezel can become rounded over decades of wear. We use specialist lapping machines to re-cut the facets of your gold or steel bezel, returning that signature “sparkle” to your Datejust or Day-Date.
Cerachrom Bezel Repair
Modern sports models feature ceramic (Cerachrom) inserts. If your pip (pearl) has fallen out or the bezel action has become stiff due to a failed spring or dirt in the ratchet teeth, we can restore the crisp, unidirectional click tailored to Submariner and GMT specs.

Specialist Care for your Rolex
Our workshop sees hundreds of Rolex watches a year, giving us a deep understanding of the common fail points in specific models.
We are particularly experienced with the Calibre 3135 movement, found in decades of Submariner and Datejust models. A frequent issue we resolve is wear on the rotor axle, which causes the oscillating weight to wobble and scour the movement plates. We inspect this as standard.
Furthermore, on models like the Submariner (Ref 16610) and Sea-Dweller, we frequently resolve crown thread stripping. This occurs when the tube threads wear down, preventing the crown from screwing down and compromising water resistance. We extract the old tube and fit a genuine Rolex tube and stem to ensure your watch remains watertight.

Frequently asked questions
Rolex generally recommends a service interval of approximately 10 years for modern watches. However, we recommend a check-up every 5 to 7 years, or immediately if you notice a drop in power reserve or timekeeping accuracy. If you use the watch for swimming, we recommend a pressure test every 12 months.
A well-documented service history from a reputable specialist like Prime Time actually enhances resale value. It proves the movement has been maintained. However, over-polishing can hurt value. If you have a vintage piece, let us know—we can service the movement while leaving the case and dial untouched to preserve its “patina.”
Absolutely. We use industry-standard vacuum and pressure testing equipment. We replace all gaskets (case back, crystal, and crown) and test the watch to its rated depth specifications.
Not always. Sometimes a watch can become magnetized by phones or speakers, causing it to run very fast. We can demagnetize and regulate the watch. However, if the timing is erratic due to dried oils or worn parts, a full service will be required.
Yes. We are so confident in our workmanship and parts that we offer a comprehensive 2-year warranty on all Rolex servicing, covering parts and labour.
