Full Cartier Watch Service
Here at Prime Time, we specialise in the repair and servicing of all Cartier models, from quartz Must de Cartiers to complex automatic Pashas. All work is carried out on-site in our state-of-the-art workshop. We offer a comprehensive 2-year warranty on all our Cartier servicing.
A full service includes:
- Complete Disassembly: Stripping down of the watch movement. We get a blister pack of parts from the brand that are changed for every service ensuring peak performance.
- Ultrasonic Cleaning: Using state of the art watch cleaning machines the movements are ultrasonically cleaned through a watch cleaning cycle.
- Part Replacement: Worn parts are replaced as per brand specifications.
- New Mainspring: Installation of a fresh mainspring for consistent power delivery. Sometimes a complete barrel.
- Movement Re-assembly: Precise rebuilding using specific oils as recommended by the brand and using our Cartier service sheets.
- Regulation: Electronic testing and regulation to ensure timekeeping meets manufacture standards.
- Refinishing: The case and bracelet are stripped for expert polishing by our in house polishing team.
- Resealing: The watch is re-cased with new seals and pressure tested.
- Quality Control: A 7-day cyclical test before return, complete with a 2-year warranty and complimentary watch pouch.

Frequently asked questions
If it is an automatic or mechanical watch we usually recommend every 5 years. For quartz every time the battery is replaced we check the health of the components.
I would recommend getting the seals checked every 1-2 years. Seals can deteriorate over time so it is worth getting them checked.
Usually when we offer a service on a Cartier these come under “optional extras” so it is up to you if you would like to replace them when the watch is being serviced.
A lot of Cartier watches are tested to shallow depths like 10-30 Metres and so we would advise not to swim in them. Always get the seals checked first beforehand.
We offer a 2-year warranty on all Cartier servicing. This covers all work carried out and parts replaced, ensuring your timepiece remains a reliable companion for years to come.
